Hello, Polygon readers. It’s the weekend, so we’re doing our usual Saturday jaunt and sharing the week’s best gaming and entertainment deals. Some of these offers have already been published on the site, but just as many are newbies that are being introduced for the first time in this post. In the middle of the page you will also find a small list of the best-selling products we have written about.
To give you a quick recap of what’s included in this roundup, we’ve got a big discount on 4K Blu-rays from Arrow Video, consisting mostly of cult classics that you’ve either been looking for, or maybe just now you realize you didn’t know you needed her. Aside from physical movies, gaming deals are a little slow at the moment, but we’ve got you covered with console, headset and video game deals.
This week’s best entertainment
At Barnes & Noble, several Blu-rays (and 4K counterparts) from Arrow Video are 50% off. This company’s catalog runs the gamut and includes classic films that belong on every physical media collector’s shelf. Take your pick from movies like dune
If you have an insatiable appetite for human flesh – I mean, AMCs The walking dead, there’s a great deal on the series’ 11-season, 54-disc collection (yes, fifty-four). Normally the DVD version costs $129.99 $94 at Walmart.

This week’s best gaming deals
If you’re looking for a fantastic wired gaming headset, I’d like to bring your attention to the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro, which is what it’s currently selling for $215 (was $249.99). This headset works with any modern console, and what sets it apart is its base station, which offers plenty of customization options – not to mention that the headset can receive Hi-Res audio via its quad DAC amplifier. I reviewed this model in detail on Polygon’s sister site The edge
The Arctis Nova Pro isn’t as versatile as its wireless counterpart, the Nova Pro Wireless, but for over $100 less, it shares enough similarities to make it worth the trade-off. This headset is comfortable and features a stylish, retractable boom microphone. If you want to switch the sound from one console to the other, just press a button on the base and you’re ready to go.
The Xbox Series X Christmas price was phenomenal at $349.99, but unfortunately it’s a thing of the past. However, reputable eBay seller Antonline is selling the console new with a second controller for $419.99. If you do a little math and subtract the roughly $50 value of the controller, the price of the console here is well under the $400 mark. That’s a great price, so take advantage of the eBay offer here if you want to get Microsoft’s most powerful console for less than the retail price at, say, Best Buy.
Do you like role-playing games? If you’ve never tried any of the Shin Megami Tensei games, why not jump into the latest Switch-exclusive game? Shin Megami Tensei 5For only $25.87. This title comes from Atlus, and – apologies to those already privy to SMT’s backstory – there wouldn’t be one persona without this series. The many monsters that appear in Persona titles have their beginnings (along with their many gameplay systems) in SMT, and this Switch title is the most polished version yet.
I would like to take this opportunity to make you aware of a very popular package on Humble that is worth your consideration. You can get a lot of Chaosium’s Call of Cthulhu RPG adventures and game aids (25 in total). $25. A portion of the proceeds raised from this sale will go to the World Wildlife Fund.
For newbies, you can start your descent into madness with the Call of Cthulhu Stater Set (normally $27 in paperback), and you get that too Investigator’s Handbook (normally $33), plus Keeper Rulebook (normally $48). It should take you a long time to play through the many adventures included in this pack Pulp Cthulhu, Hammer of the Monsters, A cold fire insideand more.
