The big surprise of the Xbox Developer Direct has not been an unknown game, as happened last year with Hi-Fi Rush. Instead it has been Visions of Mana the title that has been seen with an extensive preview that has allowed us to see how it will look with its first gameplay.

The new installment of the saga will be about first main game in over 15 years

and the first to come to an Xbox console. Square Enix itself has guaranteed that those most familiar with the franchise will feel at home and at the same time it will be a good starting point for those who want to give it a try for the first time.

The adventure will give us a Fantasy RPG that will take place in 3D worlds

that we can travel with total freedom to explore them. The protagonist will be Val, a young and skilled fighter who is chosen to accompany his childhood friend on a journey to reach the Mana Tree and rejuvenate the flow of mana power.

Along the way you will have to fight enemies that will be very familiar to all fans of the series in a few moments. real time clashes, with brutal and very frenetic combats in which you will have to deal out slashes or spells with the help of elemental spirits. Additionally, players will have a dog-like mount to move through environments more quickly.

To top off the move, Square Enix has revealed that Visions of Mana will head to PS4, PS5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam at some point this summer on a day to be confirmed.
