The Theta Electret gaming headset is equipped with electret and airtight ASUS Essence neodymium bass drivers. The electric driver technology is supposed to ensure correct audio reproduction, especially in the high and medium frequency ranges, while the independent ASUS Essence neodymium drivers with closed design are responsible for the low tones. In addition, the silver-coated copper cables are intended to transport a high-quality audio signal so that even the highest tones are transmitted clearly and in detail.
The ROG Theta Electret is also equipped with a special boom microphone that uses signal diversion technology to minimize interference and perfect sound quality. The ROG Theta Electret is certified by leading communication applications such as Teamspeak and Discord.
The ROG Theta Electret comes with ROG hybrid and 100% protein leather ear pads. The hybrid upholstery works with a fast-cooling fabric that dissipates heat up to 25% faster. Both sets of pads are designed to allow long seasons without sweating or overheating. Spectacle wearers were given special consideration in the development. Where glasses are normally worn, the Theta Electret offers softer padding to effectively avoid pressure points.
The ROG Theta Electret supports a whole range of platforms. In addition to PC and Mac, it offers support for game consoles, the Nintendo Switch or smartphones. Sound enthusiasts can pair it with high quality DACs and amplifiers to get the maximum performance out of the drivers.
The ROG Theta Electret is now available in stores at a recommended retail price of 299 euros.
