Developer Shift Up Second Eve Studios caused quite a stir The current State of Play broadcast from Sony Interactive Entertainment with a gameplay reveal trailer for Starblade (formerly known as “Project Eve”). The PS5 character action exclusive looks really good, thanks in no small part to its stylish combat and even more stylish protagonist. To prepare you for the game’s upcoming release, we decided to gather all the details we know Starblade in one place. That makes it easy to find out about one of the PS5’s flashiest exclusives coming this April.
Does Starblade Do you have a release date?
Yes, and it’s actually just around the corner. Shift Up and Sony announced this during the State of Play presentation on January 31st Starblade starts April 26th.
Which platforms will be Starblade

Once upon a time, when it was announced as Project Eve in 2019, Shift Up planned to release the game for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, in addition to the official name, the PS5 exclusivity was also revealed in the State of Play. It could come to PC like some PlayStation exclusives do Over And God of War have, but there is no confirmation of this.

The gameplay looks like a mix Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy VII RemakeAnd Nier automata. The trailer showcases action-packed gameplay as you shoot and blast your way through the alien-looking monsters called Naytibas that threaten the Earth, while also upgrading your gear and outfitting protagonist Eve with a variety of accessories and clothing. Accordingly the PlayStation Blog, Starblade features a demimonde – imagine a central area connected to an explorable zone full of activities and enemies – in which you can hunt the Naytibas, who are at the behest of the mysterious but all-powerful forces consisting of “Alpha and a Elders” – whatever that may be – are wreaking havoc.
The story of Stellar Blade is relatively straightforward, but is backed up by some intense action. Speaking of Naytibas: 3The appearance of the Naytibas causes Eve, a member of the warrior group called the 7th Airborne Squad, to descend to the post-apocalpytic planet. As one of the few people capable of saving the rotting Earth from Naytiba’s total control, it’s up to Eve – and a host of supporting characters she meets along the way – to kill them all.

The outfits are definitely part of it Starbladeare the most important selling points. Throughout the State of Play trailer, we see Eve in various clothing items. She has several form-fitting catsuits, stunning jackets with beautiful details and unusual patterns, wine-soaked blouses, crop tops, cocktail dresses, bikini wear and many more items of clothing – she probably needs a walk-in closet. Eve is definitely a style icon and I can’t wait for people to star as her.
And that’s all we know Starblade at the moment. It’s quite fitting that “stellar” is now included in the game’s title, because based on what we’ve seen so far, the adjective is very fitting as Shift Up’s character action game is shaping up to be one of the PlayStation’s most stylish exclusives 5 developed when it launches on April 26th.
