Netflix is committed to returning an absolutely iconic cinema license and has made a highly anticipated announcement.
Netflix must avoid losing customers, especially after managing to regain them despite all the obstacles imposed (price increase, end of account sharing). And for this, it’s no secret, you definitely need content in large quantities, at a regular pace to prevent monthly abandonments, and ideally still in high quality. But ultimately what matters to the company with the red N is that people watch the shows. The platform has already released “The Circle of Snows”, “In Full Flight” and “The Night of Orion”, but other feature films are lying in wait.
A release date for Beverly Hills Cop 4 on Netflix
The Beverly Hills Cop trilogy remains one of the most iconic sagas of the ’80s to ’90s. Action comedies kept at arm’s length by Eddie Murphy, even if the other members of the cast, like Serge, also helped these films succeed. And it’s exactly this hit that Netflix wants to reproduce with “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F”. A work that brings back the main faces of the previous features, some of which, with the exception of Murphy, are quite old.
“Lieutenant Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) is back on the streets of Beverly Hills. With his daughter’s (Taylour Paige) life in danger, he teams up with her, a new partner (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and his old friends Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton) to stop a fire to light and expose the plot”
A return that will cause a sensation? Subscribers can see what Beverly Hills Cop 4 has to offer on Netflix from July 3, 2024. As always, this is a worldwide release and should definitely be live from 9:01 a.m. sharp that day.
