The first thing we see is between us The animated series has launched, and while it may be small, at least we now know that “work on the show is underway.”
As early as June last year, there was news that Among Us, a game without a narrative, would be developed into an animated series. We haven’t really heard much about it since, but earlier this week, the official Among Us Twitter account shared an image from the show, and yes, it looks like… Among Us” stills from the animated series! The caption of the image reads: “Patient crew members will be rewarded with a pizza party (completely safe) (not a trap).” The image shows an empty cafeteria with delicious pizza pies on every table. Behind the cafeteria you can see some balloons (yay!) and a banner with a large blood stain in the middle that says “WE DIE” (boo).

There’s not much to say, but at least it’s a nice picture? Unfortunately, we didn’t find any beans, but considering the banners, it’s safe to assume they were all dead.

There’s definitely a pretty strong pedigree behind the show, and while it may come as a surprise, Incredibles creator Owen Dennis serves as the show’s creator and executive producer. Titmouse will also serve as the animation studio behind “Big Mouth” and “Star Trek: Lower Decks.” The official description of the project explains, “Your crew has been replaced by alien shape-shifters whose purpose is to cause chaos, destroy the ship and kill everyone. Root out the ‘imposters’ or fall victim to their murderous designs “It’s just a game, so there’s nothing much to say.
The animated adaptation of Among Us doesn’t yet have a release date, meaning it’s currently in a “wait and see” status.
