All good things are over, even friendship. This is the disassembly method Tokichiro in Nioh 2.
Do you have MUJI soul core? Check it out. They are Yokai rs emerging from a forged treasure chest and killed you. At the core of their souls comes a special effect called "Replication Enhancement" and is tailored for this battle.
Tokichiro uses spirit stones to greatly enhance his offensive and defensive capabilities. Essentially, Mujina Soul Core allows you to offset that gain by copying his reward. It makes fighting very easy.
Nioh 2 – How To Beat Tokichiro
Despite being a comedian in most games, Tokichiro does swing a sword. His ruthless fast attack is hard to bear, but his guard is not so powerful, and he often remains open.
The following video shows you the main points of the strategy.
This battle is similar to Maeda Toshio, but it is easier to exploit. Tokichiro is vulnerable to headshots from bows or rifles. If it's fast, this could be a good way to interrupt the attack and fight it aggressively.
When Tokichiro takes a spirit stone from his pocket to throw some buffs, you can shoot him or throw the buffs yourself. Because his mobile device is explosive, quick changes are a great way to stop your body from becoming abnormally healthy.
With vigilance, Tokichiro can easily parry melee combos. There is only a small window of punishment after his combo, so you must sprint up close and stay cold.
You can block his regular non-elemental combos with your primary weapon, so use your own guard. Stay away from his offense, block him when needed, then sprint and punish his combo ending. You need to be fast, but this is a simple strategy.
Beware of where he brought his left-handed sword back, it will flash black and white. This is really unstoppable bad news. Fortunately, it has a short range, so look back when you see it.
Tokichiro will sprint at you when he is armed or leans backwards with two swords. It's best to block here because it's so fast. If you are beaten to sleep, you are likely to die from a series of clicks.
When he has about 75% of his health, Shijiro will cover his fire with a sword and begin to rely more on magical attacks.
When he steps on the floor, a fire shock wave will be emitted and you need to avoid it. Then he can summon the spirit of his monkey guardian, and you need to retract it to take about 5 hits.
The jumper he makes here is a short distance and can be penalized at the end or interrupted midway. This is one of your main openings in this battle.
As for the blast counter where he leaned back and gathered a flame wall, don't be impersonated by the long waiting time. You can counter this head as soon as he moves.
Halfway through life, Torgiguero began to launch more spell attacks, but the strategy remained the same: breaking his hit rate, counterattacking when the guard was low, and then retreating.
He now starts making a spinning Burst Counter with fire and lightning, which is also easy to interrupt.
The flame blast that replaced him is a lightning bolt. You need to dodge it and interrupt his Tapir Lightning Puddle Burst Counter. You need to grab two swings with his sword instead of a puddle at the beginning.
If puddles are found, you can safely step them in for half a second, then strike again, and they will time out on their own.
Keep working hard to eliminate headshots as much as possible, and he will eventually land on the ground.
To make things easier, try throwing away some lazy amulets-they are one of the best skills in Nioh 2 and can help you get some free traffic.
