Vertical-scrolling Triggerheart Exelica is headed to the Nintendo Switch, and Red Art Games is going all out with three physical releases to accompany the eShop launch.
Originally released for the Dreamcast in 2007 following its arcade launch in 2006 (becoming one of the last licensed games for the short-lived console), the physical Switch edition will come in three variants: a standard edition (which will be available at multiple retailers), a deluxe edition, and a collector’s edition edition. The latter two will be available for pre-order exclusively through Red Art Games website
Limited to 500 copies and priced at $39.99, the deluxe edition will include:
● A copy of the game with a reversible cover
● An exclusive skin inspired by one of the 128-bit Japanese versions of Triggerheart Exelice
● Exclusive Triggerheart Exelica coin
● Double-sided poster
The Collector’s Edition will be priced at $69.99 and is also limited to 500 units, featuring:
● A copy of the game with a reversible cover inspired by one of the 128-bit Japanese versions of Triggerheart Exelice
● Original Soundtrack Triggerheart EXELICA CD
● Acrylic stand
● Large double-sided poster
● Double-sided poster of the Deluxe edition as a bonus
