S20, S20 Plus and S20 Ultra
Samsung's new smartphones, the Galaxy S20, S20 Plus and S20 Ultra, have been on sale in Germany for several days. However, starting sales is not without problems. We outline the errors and difficulties that Samsung's new smartphones bring to customers.
With the launch of Samsung's new top smartphones, the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 + and Galaxy S20 Ultra, users have noticed some major issues related to cameras, GPS and operating systems. Many of these issues should be addressed through software updates. However, customers will have to tolerate some of the errors we list below before providing the appropriate updates.
Camera problem
The S20 camera seems to cause problems in a number of ways. Actually, this should be convinced with a powerful autofocus function, but in many cases autofocus does not seem to work and provides a blurred image. The problem of triggering the LED flash also occurred. Samsung is currently fixing these two issues with an update and is currently only playing in South Korea.
In a separate update, Samsung hopes to provide another camera version. The application is currently crashing unexpectedly. That should change this way.
Power consumption and charging
In the same update that has not yet been released, Samsung also hopes to revise the battery management of the S20 series. Currently, the operating system seems to be inefficiently programmed here, and therefore uses an unnecessarily large amount of power for everyday tasks. Similarly, when wirelessly charging a device, it currently overheats-this issue should also be addressed in the same update.
Solutions to the most common problems
Many Samsung Galaxy S20 issues listed here already have solutions and we have summarized them in separate overviews.
For problem solvers
WiFi and GPS connection is unstable
Problems with WiFi and GPS connections are also well known. WLAN connections can be established, but they are very unstable, which means that smartphones often accidentally switch to mobile data connections.
A mistake also seems to cause a poor GPS connection: sometimes it takes 20 minutes to get the S20 device ready for use as a navigation device. However, this error is limited to smartphones with Snapdragon processors. However, in Europe, Samsung has equipped all S20 models with Exynos chips, so there should be no GPS issues.
Intrusive SIM card management
Another software error can be found in SIM card management, which is designed to enable control of multiple SIM cards in the device. After each restart, even if there is only one SIM card in the smartphone, a dialog box will open asking you to select a SIM card. As long as the user does not answer the dialog, the device is unusable.
