Fans of the Borderlands games have been looking forward to the movie for several years. Now the implementation has a first trailer and it’s not exactly short on fan service. From the chatty robot Claptrap (voiced by Jack Black!) to the well-known enemy types to the main characters, who are based on the classes from the game – fans are likely to let out a knowing “Ah!” more than once. The theatrical release is August 8, 2024. Then we will also f ind out whether the tonality, which is strongly reminiscent of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, at least in the trailer, will be retained in the finished film.
