Today a new update has arrived for Diablo IV in which it adds the possibility of playing with Ray Tracing enabled to improve the graphics of the game. The truth is that it was one of the features that I was most interested in more curious to try in this game and the results were, in my opinion, bittersweet.
They already warn before activating the enhanced graphics mode in the Diablo IV menu that itWith this option enabled, the goal is to aim for 30 frames per second. On the one hand, even if they warn you about it, the truth is that when you activate this function, the fluidity of the game is lost. On the one hand, it seems that it takes a lot to reach 30 Fps, at least to my eyes they do not seem constant and, on the other hand, the visual improvements are substantial, although I would not change the performance of the game for the visual effects it adds.
Diablo IV looks better with Ray Tracing, but the game loses performance
We reiterate that we are warned before activating this functionality that we will lose fluidity and that the game will oscillate with a target of 30 Fps. The game is better, the lighting effects and reflections are better, everything is more detailed and brief, it looks nicer, but I don’t think that makes up for the improvement.
We do not know if there will be new updates to continue to refine this new graphics mode of Diablo IV on consoles. Currently, whether to enable it or not depends on each person.if you want the game to be more visually impressive, you can activate it, taking into account that you will lose fluidity, being closer to 30 Fps than to 60. We remind you that Tomorrow Diablo IV finally arrives on Xbox Game Passso this is the ideal scenario to try this mode and evaluate for yourself which one you prefer to play.
