The big Dawntrailer add-on for Final Fantasy XIV also brings graphical updates. If you would like to test in advance whether your computer is suitable for the expansion, you can download a new benchmark tool.
Square Enix has released new benchmark software specifically dedicated to Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail. Fans of the MMORPG benefit twice: they get to see new footage from the large add-on and at the same time can put their computer through its paces to see whether it can display the expansion in the desired form.
The benchmark software shows new areas in the game, new enemies and more of the additions that will be released with the add-on. The first graphics update for the game can also be seen in the tool and can be experienced for the first time. This gives you the chance to try out the upcoming expansion on your computers before Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail actually appears on July 2nd, 2024.
When you use the tool, you can create a character or import an existing character, which will then appear in the video sequences in real time. In character creation, you can also create a female Hrothgar in addition to the existing playable races; As is known, this is a new playable race in Dawntrail. The character creation data from the benchmark software can be saved and then used in the Windows version of the game.
Full details and instructions for downloading the official benchmark software are available here on the official website.
