Hades 2 was tackled earlier than expected and for free by some lucky people through a technical test. However, some took the opportunity to reveal sensitive data.
The leakers who managed to recover the sensitive data in question on Hades 2 inevitably shared it on the Internet. However, the talented independent studio Supergiant Games demanded that all compromising elements be removed. This is intended to maintain the surprise when the eagerly awaited title appears in early access.
The gods of Hades 2 value their privacy
To say that the sequel to the independent masterpiece Hades is imminent is an understatement. This was supposed to be released in early access last year, but was postponed. Supergiant Games felt like they needed more time. This highly anticipated release should be out soon. To curb fans’ impatience, a technical test was announced a few days ago. This allows some lucky people to play it for free in advance.
Some took advantage of this privilege to collect sensitive data that appeared in this early version of Hades 2. They then shared their valuable insights online. However, Supergiant Games vigilantly intervened and ensured that these publications were deleted. The most interesting information mainly concerned elements that will be present in Early Access. The independent studio therefore asked the leakers via private message to be patient and to keep the secret for the many fans of its latest successful license.
Fate predicted it
Supergiant Games seems to have some great things in store for fans in Hades 2. According to him, it would be a shame to spoil the surprise too quickly. Especially since the independent studio has assured that the elements discovered in the technical test will be present in Early Access. This was the latest news expected between April and June 2024. The publication of the technical test therefore suggests that its deployment will come sooner rather than later.
In principle, fans who want to accompany Melinoë, Zagreus’ sister, in her attempt to free her father Hades from the clutches of the Titan Chronos don’t have to wait long. In addition to the mastered rogue-lite gameplay of the first opus, the sequel should be more complete in other ways. We will also meet other deities from the Greek pantheon and increasingly endearing personalities. At least that’s what we saw during Supergiant Games’ technical test presentation stream (which you can find in full below). Verdict on the occasion of very early access, initially only on the PC, until the full release later on PC and PlayStation/Xbox consoles.
