Xiaomi’s ecosystem continues to be one of its main virtues. The Chinese company presented its new operating system, HyperOS, at the end of 2023, intended to be the connection center for all of the brand’s smart products. This included not only its new mobile phones, like the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, but also its first electric car, the Xiaomi SU7.
But, besides the most important products of its Human x Car x Home ecosystem, the company’s intention was to connect all the other secondary products, less frequently used but constituting an important part of daily life. For example, the home automation elements of a house
An example of this is the new desk lamps, perfect for working and studying, that the company has presented in recent days. Those are the Mijia Table Lamp 2 and Mijia Table Lamp 2 Lite. The biggest difference, besides price, is that the former includes HyperOS Connect.
desk lamps
The two lamps are devices designed for extended reading, with a type of light that helps the eyes not to tire as much as with other light sources. The Mijia Table Lamp 2 is the more interesting of the two, as it has 112 independent LED lights that allow you to control the lighting in a very granular way over its 60 cm length.
The lamp has been designed and certified to distribute light evenly with a brightness that minimizes glare and eye fatigue. Additionally, the high color rendering index allows colors to appear as they should under light. But the most important thing is that the Xiaomi Mijia 2 table lamp can connect to Xiaomi’s smart home ecosystem
The second model is the Mijia Table Lamp 2 Lite, a simpler version and with a much more reasonable price. It has the same photometric classification and a good color rendering index. It has an optical lens that reduces eye irritation when looking directly at the light source. Allows multi-angle positioning to meet your needs.
The price of the Xiaomi Mijia Table Lamp 2 is around 25 dollars to change, while that of the Xiaomi Mijia Table Lamp 2 Lite is around 10 dollars to change. At the moment there is no indication that they will arrive in Europe.
