The animated series Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, expected to hit Netflix on May 24, has a new trailer that sets a noticeably different tone compared to the previous trailer.
Jurassic World: Chaos Theory is in fact a sequel to La Colo du Cretaceous. If it is still an animated series, it wants to be more adult and in line with what we are used to from the legendary dinosaur series. At least that’s what we can take away from this new trailer.
The new animated series Jurassic World shows its dark side
The DreamWorks-produced animated series “Jurassic World: La Colo du Cretaceous,” which aired between 2020 and 2022, had achieved some success. There we discovered six teenagers in a holiday camp on the other side of the no less famous island of Isla Nubar. We meet her again six years later in Chaos Theory, the sequel exclusive to Netflix. Our young adventurers have grown up and have now returned home.
Except that the dinosaurs also took the opportunity to invite themselves into people’s everyday lives. Our six friends reunite after a tragedy that particularly affected them. This will entangle them in a vast conspiracy that threatens both the human kingdom and that of the Cretaceous. Jurassic World: Chaos Theory therefore presents a much darker plot than the previous animated series, much to the delight of fans. That’s exactly what this new trailer highlights, which is sure to bring back memories for fans of the first hour of the Jurassic Park films.
Will our companions, having survived the dangers of Isla Nubar, manage to escape alive from this mysterious organization that exploits dinosaurs to prevent them from discovering the truth? The Resonance begins with the first season on Netflix on May 24th.
