Video game sales figures are starting to come out in Japan today and it is clear that Nintendo has reason to celebrate in these difficult times as the recently released Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nintendo family edition Swap 1.88 million copies in just three days. The game sold approximately 1,880,626 copies and 392,576 Nintendo switchch systems. To put this into perspective the previous Animal Crossing Game Crossing: The New Leaf for the Nintendo 3DS sold 721,7386 copies during the launch and the company exchanged 168,662 units for the Nintendo 3DS that week in Japan.
