Gaming News Has Genshin Impact’s little brother celebrated his first birthday?
After a win as the best mobile game of 2023, a particularly well-written story, and an anniversary with great fanfare, what does Honkai Star Rail look like after a year? We tell you about it in our JV Fast!
It’s been a few weeks since Honkai Star Rail celebrated its first anniversary. Unlike its big brother, the community didn’t have to rush to get more rewards as the game was particularly generous this holiday season. Summons, special events, a highly anticipated character, in short, it was a success. With sales of more than 100 million in the month of April, Hoyoverse’s turn-based game will lose momentum over time? You will find the answer in our JV Fast.
A gameplay that is renewed
In Honaki there are new events every three weeks. Each update is accompanied by a new quest with a small story, sometimes fun and humorous, sometimes mysterious, which gives depth to the game universe. The real strength of the events is their own gameplay. Management game, rogue-lite, goods delivery, cocktail creation and even a system inspired by Yu-Gi-Oh, the different phases of the game are constantly renewed. In each of these game modes you can earn a lot of rewards, much more than in Genshin Impact.
But then what about the game itself?
Honkai Star Rail is a turn-based video game. The science fiction universe mixes with fantasy and magic depending on the places we visit. It’s all gigantic, where the characters are more interesting than the others because of their story or design. Multiple permanent game modes allow you to earn rewards to gain powerful allies using the Gacha system… But in the end it’s still a mobile game.
If you play every day, you’ve probably felt like you have nothing left to do. There will inevitably come a time when you will have no more quests, no more events, no more monsters to fight except for fun, etc.
