The second season of The Last of Us is slowly taking shape. After seeing the first official images of the new chapters and the behind-the-scenes photos of Isabela Merced as Dina, we have now learned of the return of an actor for a character he already played in the video game.
Through the American portal Varietywe have learned that Max has signed actor Jeffrey Wright to play, this time in the live-action series, Isaac Dixon, a secondary character with an important weight in the plot of The Last of Us Part II.
The actor already voiced this character in 2020 and, like some other actors participating in the series, Max wanted to have him play him in the live-action version. Since he lent his voice to the video game, Wright has risen exponentially in Hollywood, even being nominated for the latest Oscars.
In addition, he has also landed at DC Studios, playing none other than Jim Gordon, commissioner of Gotham and one of Batman’s greatest allies in the city. The second season of The Last of Us It is still in production and is scheduled to premiere on Max sometime in 2025.
