On June 13, 2024, season 4 of The Boys started on Amazon Prime Video with three episodes and, of course, many fans watched them all at once. This is already being discussed a lot on social networks such as Reddit.
And if you were wondering what the mysterious tool of Sister Sage (Susan Heyward) is all about, there is already a promising theory.
Dumb enough for The Deep and Transformers 2?
What exactly is it about? Homelander (Antony Starr) is currently fighting for the goodwill of the population and has brought in powerful help. For the Seven, he recruited Sister Sage, who thanks to her superpowers is the smartest Frau person in the world.

But at the end of episode 3, Sage suddenly seems like a different person. Instead of reading books or making plans, she lounges on the couch in front of the TV with junk food and even starts a fling with The Deep (Chace Crawford). And of course he’s not exactly the brightest candle on the cake – quite the opposite.
The episode also ends with a promising pan of the camera to a tool with an organic mass stuck to it. What does that mean? In several Reddit posts (such as here, here and here) a promising theory is emerging.

Of course, this is not confirmed at this point in timebut the evidence definitely points to this theory. Episode 3 of season 4 does not yet provide an answer to the mystery of the smeared tool, but that will definitely follow in the coming episodes.
