What are you playing this weekend? (June 22)

I might polish Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door this weekend! I just got to level 60 in the Pit of 100 Trials and I’m pretty sure I can get through all 100 levels if I come back after another chapter or two. I’m about to ride the Excess Express, which is one of the best chapters! As a mega fan of Paper Mario, I can say that this game is absolutely worth it — the extras aren’t many, but they’re really useful for all the backtracking later in the game, and the visual upgrade is incredible. I’m actually impressed with how old the text is, too.

Other than that, I might finish Dave The Diver and maybe play some more Stardew Valley (with mods). I would go outside in this lovely summer weather, but apparently it will be about 35° where I am. Hell of a thing. At least there is air conditioning inside!

I’m on Direct kick too. For goodness sake, I’ve been playing the Link’s Awakening remake for the past few weeks and only reached Wind Fish egg after Turtle Rock. I am looking forward to bookmarking it. I played Perfect Dark too, with my trusty NSO ’64 block. It’s a game I appreciate more now than I did 24 years ago.

After that, I guess I should go with Prime Remastered. I’ve started that game a few times but never made much progress. Scanning absolutely every inch of my surroundings triggered my OCD and made me jump away from him. This time I intend to cruise by scanning only what I need and ignore the rest – crazy until the log.
