With Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, Don’t Nod is working on the next game in the style of Life is Strange, but fans will have to wait a little longer for it. The release has now been postponed again.
Don’t Nod, the creators of the successful Life is Strange series, are known to be working on their new title Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, which aims to be as atmospheric and as fun as the previous franchise. Expectations for the new title are accordingly high, but we will have to wait a little longer for it.
Lost Records: Bloom & Rage was actually supposed to be available until the end of 2024, but that won’t happen now. Instead, the planned release has been pushed back to the new year 2025, without the release window being specified any further.
The title was officially announced last year at The Game Awards and focuses on a group of four friends in two time periods. One episode takes place during their high school years in the mid-90s, the other in modern times when the four have grown into middle-aged women.
Studio CEO Oskar Guilbert also commented on the reasons for the postponement and didn’t beat around the bush. They simply wanted to give Lost Records, as well as the next part of Life is Strange, the time and space they needed to develop their full potential. “The wait will be worth it,” promises Guilbert.
