Everything pointed to Once Human doing well at launch. It was one of the most anticipated games on Steam. It was launched during the evening of July 9 and it only took a few hours (July 10) to gather more than 100,000 players, marking its first historical peak of players.
A Steam News Note notes that Once Human managed to gather 131,894 simultaneous players during July 10, 2024. While these are not numbers as crazy as other releases, see Palworld, it is a figure worthy of respect. However, those responsible for the game, Starry Studio
Although the figures support Once Humancommunity reviews don’t do it. It has 60% (9,441 users) Mixed reviews at the time of writing this post. That is to say: it hasn’t convinced more than half of the players who have tried it. What do players say in the reviews?

In summary, Once Human has managed to gather a good number of players at launch, but it has not convinced everyone. Still, it has 91,438 simultaneous players at the time of writing this post, according to SteamDBIt remains to be seen whether the reviews worsen and whether its player base grows or shrinks over time.
