There are less than two weeks left until the release of what is possibly the most anticipated film of the year: Deadpool and Wolverine. This film, which will mark Wade Wilson’s debut in the MCU, will be the first to be aimed at an adult audience. However, it seems that Ryan Reynolds has no problem with it being seen by underage viewers.
In an interview with the American media Varietythe main officials were asked Deadpool and Wolverine on the appropriate age for viewing the film. Although they generally prefer older viewers, Reynolds says that almost any minor can watch it, with one clear exception: people who are still in diapers.

“A lot of kids have seen Deadpool and Deadpool 2. But it’s never an 18-rated movie just for the sake of being an 18-rated movie. A lot of it is just the character. The character is so crude. His brain is like a half-baked omelet inside a 7-year-old’s skull. It’s a very particular thing. My own kids have seen it. And they came out hurt. Don’t bring a 3-year-old or a 114-year-old, because that person is not going to come out alive. Anyone in diapers better not come.”

Reynolds and Levy jokingly concluded that the age limit was 3, and did not recommend that anyone over 114 see the film because they might not make it out of the theater alive. In short, Reynolds recommends the film to anyone who doesn’t wear diapers, either because they’re too young or too old.
It’s clear that Marvel Studios, despite the age restriction, wants as many people as possible to enjoy this film full of violence, blood, insults and many multiversal journeys. Deadpool and Wolverine
