The upcoming PlayStation action game Concord wants to do without a Battle Pass and score points with free post-launch content.
In August, a new action game called Concord will be launched exclusively on PC and PlayStation 5. There was already a beta test recently, but it hasn’t really attracted much interest to date. Could that change with the full version in the new month? The post-launch plan from the developer studio Firewalk should also help with this.
It has now officially confirmed that there will be no Battle Pass model, as is used in many other current titles. “Concord does not have a Battle Pass. We want to focus our attention on making Concord a rewarding and robust experience from day one, where you simply play the game, level up your accounts and characters, and earn significant rewards by completing jobs,” the makers said.
In addition, future post-launch content will also be offered for free. Additional characters, maps and more are planned for future updates, which you will then receive at no additional cost. The makers will use a season model for the release plan.
A post-launch roadmap with further details will be available shortly. Concord will be released on August 23, 2024 for PlayStation 5 and PC.
