A system to receive a guaranteed item for completing activities multiple times in The First Descendant is in the works.
The first major adjustments and new Decendants have been playable since yesterday with the latest update in The First Descendant.
Director Minseok Joo spoke about future innovations and changes.
Among other things, he promised a system for receiving a guaranteed item when activities are completed multiple times.
A new system for disposing of descendant and weapon blueprints is also being worked on. They will be exchanged for more valuable byproducts in the shop, which are subject to rotation.
A place to experiment with builds and assign socket types to equipment is also in the works.
Finally, the developer is planning a change for new seasons. Skill-based descendants are currently working very well, but they want to “increase the proportion of firearms-based combat in the endgame.”
Joo said, “We can’t promise that all Descendants and weapons will be equally well balanced at all times, but our goal is to constantly change the effective builds. To that end, we promise to constantly adapt and offer different ways to play with new content.”
