Waze does a lot for us and it’s time to give back. The app is owned by Google, just like Google Maps, and yet they don’t share all the information. For example, location information appears much emptier in Waze than on Google Maps. And you can help make sure that doesn’t happen.
Waze discreetly asks you when you are driving a route to help him with a picture from the place to show to the rest of the user community. It costs you a few seconds and, in addition to improving Waze, you earn extra points by updating the location.
Donate a photo to Waze
When you arrive at your destination on a route in Waze, you will find an information window, just like in Google Maps. The difference is that in this window you are prompted to add a photo of the place for the rest of the users. This is the perfect time to ask for the photo, since you are no longer driving.
