Fomography is an action-oriented photography adventure in which the player takes on the role of an aging man and relives his life through the lens of a young boy who receives a camera from his mother.
As you navigate the labyrinth of fading memories, you’ll rediscover and record your past, uncovering forgotten details and hidden secrets. Explore a lush world in first-person, interact with a cast of lovable characters, and use your camera to solve a variety of dilemmas as you recount your youth.
What has been lost to time that only photographs can reveal? And what secrets remain even when the images are captured? Embark on a poignant quest to unravel the mysteries of a life well lived.
The plot of Fomography
One sunny afternoon in the garden, a little boy was given a camera by his mother, a gift that left him in a state of excitement. He was eager to try it out and began taking photos of her as she laughed and posed playfully. Each click of the shutter captured her joy – right up to the last snap. At that moment, something went terribly wrong. His mother had suddenly disappeared, leaving only silence and confusion in his wake.
Before he could react, the boy was transported to a strange, unknown time and place. He found himself in a dimly lit living room where a faceless man sat alone in a chair, his identity lost to time and even to himself.
The man, who had forgotten his own past, urged the boy to use the camera to capture his memories and warned him not to lose what was most important. With these words, the boy wakes up in a small town where all the inhabitants are faceless, just like the man.
Determined to solve the mystery of his mother’s disappearance and the strange world he had entered, the boy set out with his camera to uncover the hidden truths that awaited him in this confusing new reality.
