Demon Americana: Adventure JRPG Bloomtown: A Different Story is released today for PC and consoles
Publisher Twin Sails Interactive and developers Lazy Bear Games (the team behind Graveyard Keeper and Punch Club) and Different Sense Games today release the indie JRPG Bloomtown: A Different Story on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Steam.
The title normally costs $24.99, with an additional launch discount of 10%. The launch trailer of the JRPG, inspired by genre icons such as Persona, shows the demonic world that lurks behind the cheerful facade of American suburban coziness.
Bloomtown is a quiet and cozy suburb in America. But that’s just a facade, because a demonic world is growing underground and children are disappearing. Now it’s up to the players to save the town. They slip into the roles of Emily and her younger brother Chester, who tame monsters from the underworld during the summer holidays and put together their own demon hunter squad with unique team synergies.
The players get the most out of their holiday adventure. They explore the secret areas of the city, train in the gym, work in the supermarket, learn to garden and find imaginative friends. The decisions – and the adventure – belong to the players.
Main features:
- A new JRPG adventure:
- Two worlds collide: Players enter the dark underworld that lurks the children of Bloomtown and face the inner demons of the townspeople, brought to life as monstrous manifestations of fear and vice.
- Teamwork makes the dream come true: The unique abilities of demons and allies help defeat enemies and dungeon bosses in turn-based, tactical battles.
- Capturing and taming demons: When unique demons are weakened, they can be captured and added to your Demon Hunter squad. Players level up their demons and fuse them to create powerful synergies for battles in the Underworld.
- Unforgettable summer holidays: Fighting demons doesn’t take up all of Bloomtown’s time. Players can explore the town, take jobs, make friends, or take it easy – how they spend their time is up to the players.
