Helldivers 2’s newest Warbond, the Truth Enforcer, arrived in the game earlier today, and it looks like it’s the armor set that dropped via supermarkets after it, arguably attracting more players’ attention. Some of this is for good reason, as it looks good, but it also makes a lot of people question whether they should spend so many Super Points.
You might think that as long as the goals of the three main commands are completed, there wouldn’t be much time to argue about dripping, but gear has always been a big deal in the land of Helldivers. After all, how are you supposed to play a cool super soldier without spending hours in front of a mirror trying to decide which helmet actually fits your flamethrower?

Anyway, if you want this latest Superstore armor, the very Wolfenstein-esque UF 84 Doubt Killer set, you’ll need to spend a total of 925 Super Points. The body armor itself costs $400, the helmet costs $200, the flag costs $50, and the cape costs $250, all of which add up to the complete set.
In other words, if you want to save up enough points to buy the Truth Enforcer War Bond – which comes with two pieces of armor and a bunch of other stuff – you’ll be looking at spending 1,000, just like in the case of the War Bond. Now.

While this doesn’t appear to be the first time a single piece of armor has been priced at a similar price to a suspected killer gear in a super store, possibly because the cape’s price tag is a bit of an anomaly, it sparked some backlash from players on Reddit , they think they might need to put a little pressure on Arrowhead to make things a little cheaper to buy this way.
“Please mention these in the next feedback survey they do. I think we should all mention it because I’m in the same boat,” user SovietMarma, one of the moderators of the Helldivers subreddit, responded to a question about the set’s pricing the post was written. “Before this we already got armor sets that cost 600 super points so I doubt they’ll change that, but I think we could get them to reconsider the price of the cape or at least keep expensive armor like this for war Bonds,” they added, “we should all strive to make our voices heard.”
Another player wrote: “A set that costs 90% Warbond is crazy, especially when we’re now going from three sets of Warbond to two. I really hope this isn’t Arrowhead testing the waters.” This got some players What’s frustrating about this seems to be the fact that the Suspect Killer suit is medium armor, which means that between it and the Truth Enforcer, there aren’t any new heavy armor suits being brought to the game in the latest batch of additions.
We’ll have to see if Arrowhead responds to these concerns, and in fairness to the studio, it’s done a good job of taking action, or at least being willing to discuss elements of the game that don’t work the way they do with most games. Players will love it, as seen with the latest patch’s Punisher plasma transformation.
