XSEED and Marvelous today announced that the spin-off of the well-received game Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin is coming to consoles at an unannounced time and also released a trailer showing some in-engine footage. The game is called Sakuna Chronicles: Kokorowa and the Gears of Creation. The story this time focuses on Sakuna’s close friend, Princess Kokorowa. Check out the newly released trailer below.
Currently being developed by Edelweiss, the developer of the hit indie action platformer and rice farming simulation Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, the title is the first entry in the expanding Sakuna franchise. The game will tell a spin-off story centered on the brilliant Princess Kokorowa, Sakuna’s close friend, who is a high-ranking goddess who controls wheels and inventions from her heavenly home.
