In case you somehow missed it, Aspyr is working on another Tomb Raider trilogy that focuses on remastering three more Lara Croft adventures.
Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered will also come with a lot of features, one of which is the returning ‘Photo Mode’ (which also appeared in the first trilogy). This was recently discussed on the PlayStation Blog and once again allows you to freeze frame and capture the most memorable moments in the game.
This feature comes with new poses and outfits, customizable shots, dynamic expressions that bring Lara’s character to life, and seamless integration with every game.
Developer Aspyr also shared some new screenshots of two of Lara Croft’s most fearsome enemies – the Bronze Bull and the Minotaur from The Last Discovery. Note that these screenshots are from the PlayStation version of the game.
When Tomb Raider I-III Remastered hit the Switch eShop earlier this year, we called it an “awesome” package:
“Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is one of Aspyr’s most successful projects to date, successfully giving much-needed color to three of the game’s most iconic titles while upgrading the controls to make newcomers feel welcome. Some of the lighting is a bit of a letdown on the new visuals, and the need saving games manually is a big no-no in 2024, but if you’re curious about how Lara Croft got into gaming, this is the best way to experience the original trilogy.”
