I’m sure many of you have noticed that they don’t mention the Triforce! They reach us statements after the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, along with a new Switch Lite.
It seems that They wanted to give another approach to this power on purpose. In a recent meeting with FamitsuZelda producer Eiji Aonuma has explained this omission:
Ask: In terms of history, the Triforce appeared under the name “Great Power” for the first time in a long time. In the recent Legend of Zelda series, the appearance of the Triforce has become quite rare, but even among the development staff, it has become something of a “great power” that should not be touched.
Purpose: The point about Link not being able to speak, which I mentioned before, wouldn’t work unless it was based on something like the relationship between Zelda, Link and Ganon, which revolves around the Triforce. We’ve come to the conclusion that this story wouldn’t make sense if they weren’t trying to obtain the Triforce. However, if it were “a story about the Triforce,” the Triforce would be very important, and I was worried that people would imagine it was the same story over and over again.

Therefore, the era in which the story takes place is intentionally blurred, and instead of being set in a state where everyone, including the royal family and the king, knows about the Triforce, the name “Triforce” has already been forgotten and a “great power” is dormant in this world. I thought it would be better to set the story in a time when only vague folklore remains and the image of the adventure would be more vivid. That’s why I intentionally created a story without mentioning “Triforce” in the game. Well, no matter how you look at it, it looks and sounds similar to the Triforce (laughs). But I hope that when people see it, they think, “I knew that!”
This comes to us after learning about its possible link with another game in the franchise, as well as its compatibility with amiibo along with its price, download size and languages, as well as an extensive presentation trailer with tons of details.
Now, after knowing that there is amiibo restock on the way, as well as what these figures are for in the game, we have already analyzed it. What do you think of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom? We read you in the comments. Don’t hesitate to leave your opinion!
