Microsoft's 50th anniversary took place last week, and to commemorate the event, Microsoft revealed an exclusive laptop of the 50th anniversary of Microsoft Surface. Although I am not interested in such a device, it looks pretty cool.
The laptop has a black case with a shiny gold surface logo (because, you know, the 50th anniversary is the golden anniversary). It's good, but when you open the laptop, you will find the 1975 Microsoft logo at the bottom right of the keyboard. When the laptop starts, it has special Gold Windows 11 wallpaper. Microsoft runs a competition to give 50 of these laptops.
Overall, the surface of the 50th birthday looks soft … But I can't help but think it would not be much better as MacBook. Imagine next year, when Apple marks its 50th anniversary, the company emits a new black color – not midnight, not the black space, but black – with the Apple logo designed by Rob Janoff, that of Apple II with the six -color apple and the “Apple” text logo aligned with the Apple bite. Then, when you start this special edition MacBook, you are welcomed with a special wallpaper of the Apple Original logo with Sir Isaac Newton seated under an apple tree, created by Ronald Wayne. It would be great.
Apple is known to let the birthdays pass, but it is not unprecedented. In 2017, the iPhone X marked the 10th anniversary of the iPhone, and in 1997, Apple unveiled a special commemorative mac material for the company's 20th anniversary, known as Mac or Tam of the twentieth anniversary. Will Apple surprise us and do a special edition MacBook for its 50th? I know that I would buy one, even if I had to be in debt to do it.
