The actors of the American dubbing of Dragon Ball reveal some of their secrets

Christopher Sabat and Sean Schemmel, two actors in the American dub version of Dragon Ball, have revealed some of their most interesting secrets on Twitter.

Among the most surprising curiosities, they wanted to explain how they made the voice of Gogeta, the result of the fusion of Goku and Vegeta in the movie ‘Dragon Ball Super: Broly’.

How the voices changed to create the voice of Gogeta

The voice actor in charge of voicing Son Goku, Sean Schemmel, mentioned that he used an accent similar to Vegeta for the character of Vegito and for both limits the tone with just a touch:

For Gogeta, we each modify our voices a little bit. He makes his voice a little more gravely and "regal" and I make my voice a little lighter and "Goku-like". Then we give him a punk attitude. Chris Sabat, voice of Vegeta in the USA, for his part mentioned that the two voice actors modified their voices only a little to speak like Gogeta. Vegeta uses a slightly lower voice and Goku a softer voice, both with a slightly "punk" attitude.
