The Guardian games in Destiny 2 complement the current season and start on Tuesday, April 21st. You will then have three weeks to let off steam in the event before it ends on May 12th.
The Guardian games are essentially reminiscent of the previous faction rallies. This time, however, the three guardian classes do not compete as opponents. Warlocks, titans and hunters collect points for their class to get valuable rewards. How you collect points in the form of medals is currently unclear. At least there should be daily tasks of Eva and Zavala in which you can earn medals. When distributing points, the number of players per class should also be taken into account, so that more popular classes have no advantage due to the sheer number of players.
The new rewards obviously include new legendary armor sets, but you can also get an exotic weapon called Heir Apparition (Heir Apparent). The Guardian Games event is fortunately free of charge for all players, whether with or without a season pass.
