The update of the week for Season 3 of CoD: Modern Warfare brings the new playable character Ronin, which is based on a real war veteran.
You also get the game mode »Cranked«, in which you have to accumulate kills in a short time, otherwise your operator will explode. There is also new content for Warzone. We have an overview of all the important new products.
The new operator: Ronin
You can buy Ronin in the store bundle of the same name for 2400 CoD points. It is playable in both Modern Warfare multiplayer and Warzone. In the official announcement, he is described as "One Man Army": an experienced ex-member of the Special Forces who is familiar with various combat techniques.
There have been rumors about the appearance of Ronin for a while. Dataminer had discovered his name and published it on Reddit, among others. At least since a Modern Warfare season 3 teaser, many were convinced that it would be officially announced soon.
The special thing: Ronin really exists! The character is based on Tu Lam, a real war veteran and former Special Forces member. Tu Lam came as a refugee from Vietnam to the USA, where he rose to the top ranks in a 20-year military career and served with the Green Berets. He is also the actor who portrays and sets the new operator in Modern Warfare. Tu Lam now operates the security company Ronin Tactics Inc, which offers training and equipment – hence his name in the game.
Just don't go up in the air: Cranked mode
Cranked is back! The mode, which has existed since CoD: Ghosts, promises hectic gameplay: The team death match is about Kill every 30 seconds. If you are too slow, your operator will be blown up. A round of Cranked runs until you collect 150 points from kills.
Assists don't earn points, but they do increase the time before you explode. So that you have a fair chance, you get boosts on reload times and faster movement after your first kill.

Playlist update: Cabin Fever
There's plenty of action in the new Cabin Fever moshpit 6v6 matches. The maps included are:
- Rust
- Shipment
- Shoot house
- Hideout
- Hackney Yard
The maps are small to medium-sized and should offer a mix of action and strategy. There will be different objectives and death matches.
New weapon bundles & gunfight trios
In the store you can buy the two new weapon packages "Fool's Gold II" and "Toxic Ooze". In both are Blueprints for legendary weapons contain. Both bundles are of course also available in Warzone.
