Many have been the Pokémon that remained on the road and they were never officially included in the games, like the strange Pokémon gorilla, but here we have another case. Today we will talk about Mikon, the pre-evolution of Vulpix that promised to be engraved in our hearts. Unfortunately, he did not see the light.
The most adorable Pokémon in the world
Lost Pokemon of the Day: Mikon (baby Vulpix)
Mikon was originally designed for Gen 1, but was cut due to lack of cartridge space. Mikon returned in G & S's 1997 demo, but ended up gett ing cut from Gen 2 as well.

This information comes to us from the Twitter of DrLavaYT, a user who is dedicated to publishing news of the Pokémon world and data that many of us did not know. Mikon, the pre-evolution of Vulpix yes it came to be designed. In the pictures we can see several copies of this Pokémon, in which it appears with a distinctive color that varies between brown, orange and white. It is frankly adorable.
Unfortunately, Mikon could not be included in the first generation of Pokémon due to lack of space in the console cartridge Game Boy, however, something curious is that he was also excluded from the second generation. This has happened before with other Pokémon, even Psyduck and Golduck lost an evolution as well.
Mikon was discovered after the 1997 demo of Pokémon Gold and Silver It leaked on the web, and after searching through each corner, some users found the images of how th is Pokémon would look in the game. Mikon had to evolve to Vulpix once he had reached level 13. The Pokédex is so diverse that even Godzilla was going to have his own Pokémon.
