It turns out that Retro Studios, a subsidiary of Nintendo is currently working on the highly anticipated Metrop Prime 4, it has also recruited a number of competent industries to develop its industries.
As seen by VGC, a Texas-based engineer has brought in new VFX artists – people in charge of special effects visuals such as explosions, lasers, fire, and more. New hire includes Adad Morales (Hardline War), Bryan Erck (Photo by Tomb Raider), and Nicholas Wilson (Borderlands 3).
Over the past few months, we've been hearing a lot of new Retro Studios guests. The three aforementioned will join Mark Capers, previously A New Tale of Super Lucky Playing engineer, James Beech (Crysis 3 and DC Universe online, Stephen Dupree, (Donkey Kong Land: Tropical Ice) and Kyle Hefley (Halo).
We are yet to see anything about Metroid Prime 4, of course, but seeing all these names join the team is certainly a great hope. It has now been almost a year since we first heard that game development had been scrapped and rebuilt.
