The recent announcement has confirmed that the two best Tony Hawk Pro Skater games will be re-processed in the near future.
The news surfaced on Twitter, where screen shots of the text that Tony Hawk himself apparently shared online. According to the news, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 will be fixed soon. You can view the following tweets.

As you can see, remasters is set to contain the original map, the original skater and the songs in the original audio track, as well as a series of unspecified new features. As Hawk pointed out, the news will be officially announced soon.
Although we are happy to see it finally confirmed, the ongoing new Tony Hawk Pro Skater project is no secret. Discussions about potential remasters or a brand new game leaked through the message board chatter in 2019, and fans of this series are confident in more specific presentations from now on.
Most importantly, since the initial leak surfaced online, several professional skaters and musicians have confirmed their participation in the project. In fact, just this month, professional skater Jason Dill talked about this and mentioned that he contributed to the upcoming Tony Hawk Pro Skater music score. Now, we can finally confirm which new project he is involved in.
Tony Hawk Pro Skater ’s legacy should be better than the ill-fated Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5, so it ’s nice to see Activision make it even better by remaking games that are generally considered to be the two best games in the entire series.
According to the official disclosure at Geoff Keighley's Summer Games Festival, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2 will be launched on September 4, 2020 and will be developed by the Vicarious Visions team responsible for the recent "Crash Bandicoot" remake game, including -Neversoft, currently Jennifer Oneal, the head of Vicarious Visions studio.
In addition, according to a recent press release, digital pre-orders will enable fans to get an exclusive warehouse-level demo this summer.
