Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projekt RED is expected to cause a sensation in a few months; it is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated titles of the year. But what could the sci-fi hope bearer have been like if it had already been released for the first PlayStation?

The PS4 exclusive title Dreams recently received a final release date on February 14, 2020. Nevertheless, in the early access version, several creative minds used the game kit to create their own creations or replicas of previous titles. The user Bearly Regal has now taken on the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077.
In Dreams he made a demake of the potential sci-fi hit by CD Projekt RED. The question should be clarified how Cyberpunk 2077 would have looked had it not been for the PS4 but for the PS1. The result is Cyberpunk 1997 and has now been presented in the form of a video on YouTube.
Among other things, you can see individualization options for your apartment in the demake, access to various weapons or the visible statistics. There is even a market where you can stock up on new items.
Bearly Regal emphasizes that a lot of work will still be needed to complete the demake, but it may even be playable for other players in Dreams. Hopefully the user will not have any legal problems with CD Projekt RED.
