It will be December 10 when we can enjoy Cyberpunk 2077, after numerous delays and several years since its announcement. It will be a cross-platform, intergenerational title, so we can enjoy Night City on almost any machine.
In the absence of knowing when the update patch will arrive Cyberpunk 2077 for the new generation, CD Projekt RED has confirmed that we will be able to move our games started on PS4 and Xbox One to PS5 and Xbox Series X / S without any problem.
Attention console players!
If you start playing #Cyberpunk2077 on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you will be able to continue playing it on a corresponding next-gen console. Here’s how the cross-saves will work:

The method varies between Microsoft and Sony consoles, although here are all the detailed steps to do it in the best possible way:
Xbox
Thanks to the Smart Delivery system we can continue playing on Xbox Series X / S from where we left off on Xbox One.
You need to make sure be connected to the internet so that saved data is uploaded to the cloud or connect the Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S to the same network and use the system’s network transfer option.
PlayStation
We can resume the game at the same point where we left it (as long as we are using the same PlayStation account).
There are 3 different options:
- 1. Connect to our PS Plus account and load saved games
- 2. Transfer the data via LAN cable or a wireless connection (WiFi)
- 3. Use a compatible storage device to copy and transfer the saved files to the same PSN account on PlayStation 5.
Thus, with these steps, we can continue to enjoy the ambitious adventure of the Polish developer
Cyberpunk 2077 reach 10th of December to PS4, Xbox One and PC, platform on which your requirements have been revealed Recently. Although they can be played via backward compatibility in Xbox Series X Y PS5, we will have to wait for the update for the next generation consoles, which will be released next year free of charge for holders of a copy of the game.
