Chasuriyama Kofun in Assassin's Creed Shadows is one of the many Kofuns that you can explore on your trip. We strongly recommend that you take the time to do them, because they assign you a precious point of knowledge (as well as other awards) at the end.
This specific kofun is in Tamba which has a recommended regional level of 35 in the assassin belief shadows. However, if you stay away from enemies and mount your mount directly to Kofun, you should be able to finish it safely at any level.

Here is our procedure step by step complete for the Chasuriyama Kofun in Assassin's Creed Shadows.
First step – Use Nae to enter
To complete the Chasuriyama Kofun, you have to change your character to Nae, because it is the only one that can pass through certain shortcomings and you will need its grapple to explore the Kofun. So, even if one of them can enter, we recommend that you go with Nae from the start.
When you are at the entrance to the Kofun, go to the stairs and continue to follow the path to the room with the sarcophagus. Continue to pass in front of the sarcophagus and through the small gap in the wall behind it to enter the next part of the Kofun.
Second step – Find the first chest
Continue to follow the way forward until you reach a point where you can go out on a beam and dive into a solid black hole. Don't worry, there is water at the bottom here, so there is no risk of injury.
Surface water and continue to follow the path until you reach a space that Nae cannot jump. At this point, search and you should see a grapple point above you. Face this and swing the space on the other side.
Then continue to follow the path until you reach another big gap with a large rock platform in the middle. Jump towards this, then jump on the other side and continue to move forward.
You will arrive at a small opening in the wall here near the floor, you will be inclined to crawl it.
On the other side, you will arrive in a large body of water. Go forward to stand on the first wooden platform on the edge here and look to find another grapple point. Use it to swing you on the small rock platform in front of you.
When you land on this platform, go up the wall to the handle here, follow the climbing path on the left. When you can't go further, go down the platform under you and continue to follow the path here.
You will arrive almost instantly to another grapple point, will again use your grapple to swing you through the space here towards the platform in front of you. Continue to follow the path forward and you will arrive at a gap with a rope above. Take a walk along this rope and use it to go to the next platform.
Again, continue to follow the path forward now. You will arrive in a corridor area bordered by candles, will continue in the future, but then stop at the fourth candle (it will be on your right). Look at the wall next to this candle and you should see a gap here that you can walk.
In the room, it brings you, you can loot the first chest.
Step three – Find the second chest
Now come back from this room and return to the corridor bordered by candles, then continue to follow the path forward and through a narrow gap in the wall.
Continue to move forward and you will arrive in an area with a large stack of rock in the middle.
Use the large rocks here as springboard to cross the region, climbing the large battery when you reach it, then jump into the central part of this area (where the candle is on the wood.)
Get on the wooden platform with the candle on it, then look to your right. Head to the right and follow the small path here to reach the trunk on the edge raised by the candle.
Fourth step – Find the assassin trunk
Now go back to the wooden platform with the candle on it and look at your eyes, you should see a grapple point here. Use it to swing you on the platform in front of you. We found it easier by giving ourselves a slightly longer grapple line to lengthen the scope of our swing.
Go forward when you land and find another grapple point. You know what to do, go to the next platform, then climb the wall to reach the next area.
In the middle of this area, you will find a chest with a brand of assassin on it. You will not be able to open it unless you started the lateral quest “A Blade in the Dark”.
Step five – Find the legendary trunk
From the chest of the assassin to the left and through a narrow space in the wall. It may now seem trapped, but you can easily climb the bumpy wall in front of you – so go up this to reach the next area.
When you are at the top, continue to follow the path forward as guided by the candles and you will reach the final and the largest trunk in the Kofun. Open this trunk to finish Chasuriyama Kofun, and the trunk contains Scarlet fate (legendary tanto), impactful attacks (engraving), 1 point of knowledge And 2000 XP.
STEP SIX – Take out Chasuriyama KOFUN
To leave Chasuriyama Kofun, go up the wall behind the legendary chest (there is a lamp on the edge) and follow the path forward, then descend in a lower area.
If you look to the left after your landing, you will see that you are back to the point where you have plunged into the big black hole. Here, go instead to the right on the right and follow the path here to return to your steps in the room with the sarcophagus, then continue to follow the Kofun path.
