Niantic has officially shared with us these days what the raid program will be for the month of August 2024, and the truth is that we have some really exciting events and battles that we will have to face soon, at least if we want to be active in the coming weeks.
SO let’s not waste our timebecause we have a lot to think about. Take note because this is what you need to know about the raid bosses that we will have in Pokémon GO during the month of August 2024.
Mega Raids August 2024 in Pokémon GO
These are the most anticipated raids of the Mega version that we will have next month in the Niantic game. Take note:
- Mega Aerodactyl: August 3-12.
- Mega Kangashkan: August 12 – 21.
- Mega Salamence: August 21 – September 3
5 Star Raids
These are the currently confirmed raids that will be present in 5 stars. So be careful:
- Sulfura: August 3 – August 12
- Thundurus in its “incarnate” form: August 12 – August 21.
- Xerneas: August 21 – September 3.
They can also be Shiny, so if you are lucky enough to find one like this, don’t miss out and give it a try.
These are the raid hours
All the details that Niantic has shared about the special raid hours that will give us the opportunity to face 5-star raids. So take note because all the gyms that offer raids will be 5-star raid bosses.
- Raid hours take place every Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time.
3 Star Raids
There are several 3-star raids (which are the standards) that can be found during the last month of summer. So take note of our upcoming updates because surely, new Pokémon will arrive to take on these challenges even more:
- Camerupt
- Ampharos
- Carchacrok
1 Star Raids
- This one
- Litleo
- Suffocating
- They snore
For some of the more special raids we’ll be running throughout the month, we’ll need Raid Passeswhich will allow us to participate in unique battles.
How to Get Raid Passes in Pokémon GO
You will need a Raid Pass to participate in a Raid Battle. You can Earn a daily Raid Pass by spinning the photo disc at any gym. If you run out, you can purchase a Premium Raid Pass from the store. These are the two main ways to do this.
So also take note of these ways to get raid passes that will allow you also take advantage of these challenges.
