The pictures are equipment that gives passive boosts to the characters to which they are applied in Clear Dark: Expedition 33. The boosts they give will all be different, so it is worth taking the time to read the qualities of each and then to decide which character they will suit.
Once you have equipped a pictos, its boosts and the buffs will be automatically applied to your character so that you have nothing to do after having decided which ones to equip.
