Diablo 4 finally comes out in June, but Season 1 and his Battle Pass are not available at launch.
This staggered release structure gives you time to complete the campaign and familiarize yourself with Diablo 4’s gameplay loop before you toss more tasks between whirling and twisting the blade to reach max power level.
Although we don’t know exactly Season 1 and Battle Pass release date for now, we have an official window for the release of the first season detailed below, as well as a Diablo 4 Battle Pass Explained so that you can familiarize yourself with its various versions before the launch.

Diablo 4 Season 1 and Battle Pass Release Date
We don’t have a specific date and time yet, but we know from an official blog post that Diablo 4 Season 1 and its Battle Pass release mid to late July.
Keep in mind that to participate in the new content added in the first seasonal update, you must complete the campaign. It’s unclear at this time if this includes access to the Season 1 Battle Pass, so it’s best to finish the campaign before mid-July if you want to make sure you’re ready for the update. complete.
We’ll update this page with a more specific release date and time for Season 1 when it’s officially announced.
How much does the Diablo 4 Battle Pass cost?
There are three versions of each season’s battle pass in Diablo 4:
- Free – free for all players, 27 level rewards
- Prime – costs 1,000 Platinum (£8.39/$9.88), 63 tier rewards
- Accelerated – costs 2,800 platinums (£20.99 / $24.99)
The Fast-Track Battle Pass contains exactly the same perks as the Premium Battle Pass, but it also provides 20 Tier Skips and a special cosmetic item.

Diablo 4 Battle Pass and Season Rewards Explained
A new Diablo 4 battle pass will be available with each new season, with a new season currently slated for a “quarterly” release, so we will have a new battle pass and a new season approximately every three months.
Seasons contain their own objectives and rewards (like crafting materials and Legendary Aspects for the Codex of Power), and you can earn additional rewards through the Battle Pass.
It is important to note that the Premium battle pass does not contain any in-game energy resourcesand instead unlocks tiers that contain cosmetics unique to a season or the Premium Shop.
THE free battle pass rewards we know about so far are:
- Beauty products
- Emblems
- Emotes
- Gold
- smoldering ashes
- Securities
Previous Battle Pass promo images included mounts and several armor sets for different classes, but these were released while Diablo 4 was still in development, so plans may have changed.
So how do you unlock these free and premium battle pass rewards? You need to earn favors, which you can do quickly by completing Season Journey objectives.
All the ways we know so far that you can earn a battle pass favor in Diablo 4 are:
- Complete seasonal journey objectives
- Complete quests
- kill monsters
- Participate in events
