THE The Cave of the Forsaken in Elden Ring is a place located on the peaks of the Giants (west side).
This Elden Ring cave contains plenty of loot to find, but there are enemies along the way, including Boggarts, Rats, and a Land Octopus. At the very end, a Misbegotten Crusader awaits you.

Elden Ring Cave of the Forsaken Walkthrough
This means you need to have access to the Hallowed Snowfield, which you can only enter with the Secret Haligree Medallion. The amulet can be used to enter the western side of the Giant Peaks, where you will find the cave to the east:
You will need two sword stone keys to open the entrance, which is also guarded by an adult land octopus.
Activate the “Cave of the Forlorn” grace site and recover 1x Golden Rune (7) next to the dragon. The view through the ice is impressive. We will get there shortly.
Behind this you will find 4x Freezing fat and the path splits. The left passage leads behind some stalagtites to rats and boggarts guarding 1x Freezing fat (in an alcove on the side).
Go back to the entrance area and take the other passage east and turn left at this point:
Behind the sleeping abominations you will find a corpse with 1x Emerging Butterfly On the other side of the room is 1x Golden Rune (10).
Continue east to reach this room:
Use the snow-covered rock platforms on the right, jump to the sparkling object and collect it. 1x Hero’s Rune (2).
In the corridor to the north, we encounter some sleeping abominations guarding 1x Runic Bow And 10x Spirit Flame Arrows at an impasse.
Back in the familiar room, you can jump again to the west corner, go down and reach the area under the ice (with the red jellyfish).
After five of these not-so-good-natured beasts, it’s time to loot. Among the corpses, we find 3x Miquella Lily, 8x Crystal Darts And 2x Thawing bolus.
After the passage, there are more jellyfish on the kill list, next to a corpse with 3x Thawing bolus. Drop it in the hole next to it, pick it up. 6x Antifreeze Grease of the corpse on the ledge and the boss fight will take place below.
How to Beat the Forsaken and Misspawned Crusader’s Cave Boss in Elden Ring
The Misbegotten Crusader is the boss of the Cave of the Forsaken.
However, the fancy name doesn’t hide the fact that it’s actually a lion-like monster. And we already know this boss from Castle Morne.
The extended combos in particular make the boss fight more difficult than it should be.
Fortunately, the beast can be thwarted by blows and its attacks can be interrupted. Call upon a ghost to give you some respite.
Use jumping attacks when the opportunity arises and try to break the monster’s position.
If he raises his sword in salute, a golden explosion will immediately follow. Move to safety or interrupt him during this animation.
Your rewards for defeating this boss are 93,000 runes and the Great Sword of the Golden Order.
