It is located east of the Death-Touched Catacombs and not far from the “Divine Bridge” grace site. You must throw yourself and your horse from the bridge where the Pumpkin Head is and land in the Ghost Well.

Activate the Grace Site and follow the northern path to go deeper into the cave. After a few meters, you will have to go back down several times.

Kill the wolves in the next room and you’ll be able to explore some hallways. The northeast passage will lead you to two wolves guarding a corpse with 1x Golden Rune (1).

Then go down several times under the incoming light and follow the cave tunnel north. Behind the wolves near the campfire, you can head west along the left side and find a corpse with 3x Arteria Leaf.

Return to the passage you came from and follow it north. At the dead end on the left, you will find a corpse with 2x fire-fighting greases Next to some wolves, continue to the right.

In the next cave you will see a waterfall and can enjoy an impressive view of the area in front of you. Follow the cliffs on the left, go down once and kill the bats. To the south, at the end of the path, there is a corpse with 3x Forge Stone (1).

Continue northeast and jump towards the waterfall. Go left into the cave with the bats, kill them and collect 1x Forge Stone (2).

Now run upstream and behind some land octopuses you will discover a corpse with 1x Golden Rune (4) in a dead end. There is nothing else to collect here.

Go back down into the cave with the waterfall and look down. Go down to where the water is gushing out. You should see messages at the bottom if you’re playing online.

Jump onto the fallen pillar and crush the bats behind it with a falling attack. They guard a corpse with the Scimitar sword.

To the northeast you have to do more jumping and end up near a campfire. Follow the passage next to it to a room with a giant land octopus on the ceiling. The large mass will fall if you get close enough.

Defeat the beast and head through the passage that leads northwest. You will find yourself in front of a corpse on the ledge.

Continue left and you’ll see a pillar next to the waterfall, which you can jump onto with a quick enough jump. Then go under the waterfall and follow the passage leading south to the HighRoad Cave boss.

How to defeat the Guardian Golem in the Great Road Cave in Elden Ring

The golem takes a moment to get back up. Take advantage of this to land a few hits on it while it struggles to get back up.

We already know this type of Limgrave enemy. He is strong, but very slow and sluggish in his animations. This means that if you dodge a lot and at the right time, you have a good chance here.

If he swings his axe in an arc in front of him, dodge it forward towards his body and counterattack. You have time to land several hits.

During an attack animation, he can really spread out and cover almost the entire arena. Don’t underestimate this range.

He likes to follow up his axe strike with a fire breath attack, which you can avoid by dodging or sprinting to the side.

He also slams the ground in front of him with the shaft of his weapon repeatedly, up to four times in a row. Let him let off steam and keep your distance when he does.

Sometimes he’ll just stomp once, only to raise his weapon shortly after, creating a small shockwave all around – and knocking you off your feet.

You can dodge his overhead strike by jumping diagonally towards his body, giving you one of the best counterattack options in this fight.

Generally, try to stay between his legs and deal damage to him. He’s too slow to react properly (except with the kick at one point).

Your rewards for defeating this Golem are 1700 runes and the Blue dancer charm.
