What are the three fingers in Elden Ring?
The Three Fingers are an antithesis of the Two Fingers that many of those in Elden Ring follow. They don’t want to embrace the way of life the Erdtree has dictated, and instead relish chaos.
You can see this in many spells and items related to them, which often inflict the frenzy status effect, which can cause massive damage. They’re a menacing legendary figure in Elden Ring, but finding them is essential to grasping one of Elden Ring’s alternate endings.
Elden Ring Three Fingers location: where to find the three fingers
You can find the three fingers under the capital of Leyndell. A few characters allude to it, and you might think they mean deep underground, but they actually refer to an entrance that’s near the sewers in the capital.
The first step to finding all three fingers in Elden Ring is to find the well in the capital that has a ladder that goes down.
It h as enemies crawling on the ground nearby and is surrounded by ash. You can check out the images here for a location on the map, as it’s easy to miss unless you scour the area carefully.
The picture above is where the entrance is before you beat the fire giant and do this part of the quest. If, however, you have already done so, you can still continue down this path, but the entry moves to the location below instead and is much easier to spot:
You will now come to the Underground Escape Lands. This section of the sewers is filled with a mix of rats, slimes, imps, and a few other nasty enemies. You’ll have to work your way through the dungeon slowly, often making your way through pipes barely taller than you, until you eventually find yourself on an elevator that descends even further into the world .
Grab Grace’s site here and then walk down the path to the Cathedral of the Forsaken, where you can fight a variant of Mohg, called Mohg, the Omen. It’s a tough fight with an aggressive boss who uses blood flame spells to try to inflict bleeding status hits on you.
We recommend using a strong Spirit Summon here and making sure your Stamina is pretty high as well. Keep moving and use strong attacks, and stay out of pools of blood flames, and you’ll eventually defeat Mohg, the Omen.
What to do after beating Mohg, the Omen
Once you’ve defeated this tough enemy, you’ll want to open the chest in the room, then move closer to the pedestal behind it. Surprise, the pedestal will now lower into the ground, and you’re free to begin perhaps the most infuriating part of this quest so far: a platforming challenge.
Descend as low as safely possible, while taking out the frenzied enemies there, and you’ll get to a point where you can’t easily descend. You will now need to use the stone coffins below you to make your way to the bottom of this pit.
There are a few different paths here, and we recommend using items to help reduce fall damage (such as soft cotton) if you have them, because they can sometimes help. Upon reaching the bottom, you’ll find yourself falling once more into a new area.
Once you’ve chosen a starting class and a starting souvenir item, you first need to figure out how to level up, how to respec, and how to use Ashes of War. Need direction from there? Try to find Golden Seeds, Holy Tears, Crystal Tears, Talismans, and some of our top early weapon and armor picks. If you’re nearing the end of the game, we can help you with the Haligtree Secret Medallion locations, the Millicent quest, and defeating the toughest bosses including Commander Niall, Morgott, Godskin Duo, Maliketh, and Malenia.
What to do at the Frenziied Flame Proscription
The good news is that this area does not contain any gruesome bosses. Instead, you’ll be on top of a pile of rubble. Grab Grace’s site here and then make sure you are absolutely committed to surrender to the flame of frenzy.
First take off all your clothes and take off your weapons, then head to the spooky door at the end of the hall. All you have to do now is open the door and you can watch an unsettling cutscene.
Congratulations, you have now found the Three Fingers in Elden Ring and have been marked by them. All you have to do now is keep playing the game.
This locks you into the Frenzied Flame Lord ending unless you can beat Malenia – so be 100% sure you want this before continuing, as Malenia is undoubtedly one of the toughest bosses in the game. Game !
