How to beat Astel Stars of Darkness in Yelough Anix Tunnel in Elden Ring
Astel, the Dark Star is the boss of the Yelough Anix tunnel.
We already know this type of enemy as Astel Naturalborn of the Void.
The creature’s behavior has not changed, so check out the linked page for a more in-depth analysis of the moveset.
In a nutshell: Astel is susceptible to headshots, which are relatively easy to land (the head is quite low, after all).
As you approach, be careful of the laser beam the boss fires and the tail that crashes into you as you run towards it.
In close combat, you have to watch out for his grappling hooks. From time to time, he teleports and appears elsewhere to be able to chain together long-range attacks.
Once his HP bar is depleted, he does it anyway and creates a meteor shower. Avoid the meteors by dodging to the side, multiple times in a row, or by sprinting.
Your reward for defeating them is 120,000 runes and the Astel Meteorite Spell.
