Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Fast approaching, with the final season set to wrap up in the next few weeks, speculation is starting to arise about what we can expect from Epic Games’ next installment.

Leaks of upcoming items and features for Fortnite’s next season have already started popping up on social media, but Epic Games has yet to officially announce anything. Therefore, speculation and expectation based on these leaks is all we have at this time.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Estimated Release Date

Thanks to an official Tweet from @FortniteStatus, we know that the current season of Fortnite is set to end on Wednesday, March 8.

This means that the the estimated start date for Chapter 4 Season 2 is Thursday, March 9. Although it’s important to remember that this has yet to be officially confirmed by Epic Games and is only a rough estimate based on what we know.

What to expect in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2

Although nothing has been officially announced, there are a few items and features believed to be coming to Chapter 4 Season 2 that have been teased by reliable sources that have been accurate in previous seasons.

Theme/Frame

Chances are the next map of the Fortnite season will be a futuristic/neo-Tokyo themed one, which is a huge contrast to the current map which is filled with forts, turrets, and vast areas of greenery.

Along with the new theme, we expect to see Lucky Landing return, a new Neo-Tokyo POI appear, and “futuristic motorbikes” dotted across the map.

Also, sticking with the possible new theme, there may be tubes that you can use as slides to move around while holding your weapon. Did we mention they glow too?

The attack of the Titans

Fans of the popular anime might be happy to hear that Eren Yeager is set to be the secret Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass skin.

In addition to the skin, there are reports that there is a new mythic weapon that is also based on Eren’s Grappler size.

resident Evil

Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield are expected to make their way into the Item Shop for Fortnite’s next season.

With the Resident Evil 4 remake slated for the end of March, we’re confident this leak is sure to happen.

New Skins

In addition to Eren Yeager being the secret Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass skin, there may be five new skins included in the pass as well. It’s unclear at this time if they’ll be in the Item Shop or as part of the BP, but a new Drift Skin and Lizard Skin could also be on the way.

New Weapons/Returning Weapons

With a new season comes the potential for new weapons, and so far we expect to see:

• New Swords
• new gun
• New shotgun
